PlanetPress supports both current and legacy data streams, and is a "printer centric solution" that minimizes network traffic by storing the custom built form templates directly on the imageRUNNER hard drive, so only the variable data is sent over the network.

With Objectif Lune's PlanetPress Suite, customers can move from printing on proprietary and/or impact printers to high quality printing with Canon imageRUNNER devices with no changes to the host system, as no host or server software is required.
